En 2007, Adrian Finch (Dances With Wolves, Masters Of The Hemisphere, Elf Power...) sortait avec son nouveau projet Night Moves Gold, un EP intitulé Night Moves '08. Cela fait quelques mois que je l'écoute et je crois que c'est le bon moment pour en parler, avec l'arrivée de l'été.
Night Moves '08 est un flash-back "lo-fi soul pop" orchestré avec petits synthés, boîtes à rythmes et guitares qui transformera votre chambre ou séjour en piste de dance, en particulier le très efficace "Townie Lover". On y trouve aussi une nouvelle version de "Get Inside The Car", valse auparavant enregistré pour Dances With Wolves, d'une humeur beaucoup plus funk ici.
In 2007, Adrian Finch (Dances With Wolves, Masters Of The Hemisphere, Elf Power...) released with his new project Night Moves Gold an EP called Night Moves '08. I've been listening to it the past few months and i think that, with the summer arriving, the time has come to write about it.
Night Moves '08 is a "lo-fi soul pop" flash-back orchestrated with little keyboards, drum machines and guitars that will turn your bedroom/livingroom into a dancefloor, especially the very effective "Townie Lover". There is also a new version of the song "Get Inside The Car", a waltz previously recorded for Dances With Wolves, now with a funky mood.
