Le premier split était sorti il y a un an et demi et entre les deux, l'excellent second album de Be My Weapon. Comme d'habitude la qualité (lo-fi) est au rendez-vous, la face Be My Weapon, dans la continuité de ¡¡ GREASY !!, offre un titre de folk-rock noisy et dissonant ; la face Wendell Davis, une promenade folk aux arrangements rêveurs. Ça sent la poussière et le cuir chaud, cette odeur lorsque vous vous installez dans une voiture restée trop longtemps au soleil, qui disparait ensuite pour laisser la place à l'air et au défilé des poteaux électriques qui bordent la route.
The first split was released a year and a half ago and between the two, the excellent second Be My Weapon album. As usual the (lo-fi) quality is there, Be My Weapon's side, in the continuity of ¡¡ GREASY !!, offers a noisy and dissonant folk-rock track; Wendell Davis' side, a folk ballad with some dreamy arrangement. It smells like dust and hot leather, this smell when you get inside a car that has stayed too long in the sun and that disappears then to give way to the air and the parade of power poles bordering the road.
