Dans A Lake Of Distortion, Jacob Faurholt explore ses relations avec ses proches, ses peurs, sa musique et celle des autres, alternant entre chansons folk et pop alternative avec distorsion, forcément, optant pour une formule simple et directe, mais pas rentre dedans. La porte est restée ouverte aux invités venus partager l'aventure dont certains ont déjà été cités sur ce blog comme Soren Brothers (Man Meets Bear) et Claus Frøhlich (Younolovebunny).
C'est un bel et doux album très personnel faisant quelques clins d’œil à Daniel Johnston (Listening To Devil Town) et à la scène alternative US des années 90.
In A Lake Of Distortion, Jacob Faurholt explores his relationships with his relatives and friends, his fears, his and other's music, alternating between folk songs and alt-pop with distortion, of course, opting for a simple and direct but not agressive formula. The door has remained open to guests that came to share the adventure, some were already mentioned on this blog like Soren Brothers (Man Meets Bear) and Claus Frøhlich (Younolovebunny).
It's a beautiful and sweet very personal album winking at Daniel Johnston (Listening To Devil Town) and the US alternative scene of the 90s.
