Chris Pellnat a sorti près d'un album en solo par an depuis 2017, en parallèle de ses groupes. Cairn contient un bon nombre d'excellentes chansons pop folk à la composition soignée, assez différentes les unes des autres : Ship On The Horizon, Better, Maddening Muse... et bien que deux titres s'intègrent moins bien dans l'ensemble, Cairn reste un très bon album du genre.
Chris Pellnat has recorded almost a solo album a year since 2017 alongside his bands. Cairn contains a large number of excellent pop folk song carefully composed, each one quite different from the other ones: Ship On The Horizon, Better, Maddening Muse... and though two tracks don't fit in well in the whole thing, Cairn remains a very good album in its genre.
