Smack Dab - Queen Crab (album)

Bon ce n'est pas vraiment une nouveauté mais ce Queen Crab, merveille secrète de près de 30 ans du groupe Smack Dab vient d'être remasterisée et mise sur bandcamp. 18 joyeux titres d'un rock'n'roll ludique et surprenant aux virages à 180°. Le groupe était alors composé de Linda Hagood accompagnée d'Alec Stephen à la basse (Railroad Jerk) et du regrété Bill Berger (Uncle Wiggly). C'est le producteur J.Z. Barrell, qui succéda à Berger sur le deuxième album qui est à l'origine de ce remastering. L'occasion de (re)découvrir cet album.

Ok this is not really a new thing but this Queen Crab, an almost 30 years old secret marvel from the band Smack Dab, has just been remastered and put on bandcamp. 18 joyful tracks of a playful and surprising rock'n'roll with 180 degree turns. The band was at that time composed of Linda Hagood with Alec Stephens (Railroad Jerk) on bass and Bill Berger (Uncle Wiggly) on drums. It's the producer J.Z. Barrell, drummer on the second album, who remastered Queen Crab. A good occasion to (re)discover this album.
