J'ai déjà dû écouter Younolovebunny il y a quelques temps car je reçois des notifications bandcamp à chacune de ses nouvelles sorties, malheureusement parfois j'oublie de réécouter, à tort.

Le danois Claus Frøhlich fait partie de cette génération qui a grandi avec le grunge et la pop alternative et lo-fi de la toute fin du siècle dernier, son album Song Book I sorti en juillet dernier en est une belle représentation.
Les 11 titres mi-courts sonnent comme un souvenir égaré de cette période, le grain des enregistrements et de la voix chatouille l'oreille, les mélodies sont douce-amères, simples mais uniques et pas si évidentes. Song Book I est un album homogène en terme de qualité, on ne bute sur aucune chanson, le tout s'écoute au présent (mais non sans nostalgie pour les trentenaires) d'une traite, on quitte un morceau avec autant de plaisir qu'on enchaine avec le suivant.
I surely arleady have listened to Younolovebunny some time ago because i get bandcamp notifications when he releases new stuff, sadly i sometime forget to have a listen again, wrongly.
So thanks to Jacob Faurholt's recommendation (read his interview) i had a compensatory session.
From Denmark, Claus Frøhlich is part of the generation which grew up with grunge and lo-fi alt-pop music from the very end of the last century, his album Song Book I released last july is a great representation.
The half-short 11 tracks sound like an astray memory of that period, the grain of the recordings and the voice tickles the ear, the melodies are bittersweet, simple but unique and not so evident. Song Book I is an homogeneous album in terms of quality, we don't stumble on any song, the whole thing is listened in the present - but not without nostalgia for those in their thirties - in one sitting, leaving each track with as pleasure as following with the next one.
